The neighborhood of Northwest Decatur is both residential areas and farmland, with some commercial real estate closer to the east. This district is bounded by Illinois Route 121 in the north, the I-72 and North Wyckles Road in the east, Route 36 in the south, and Route 48 in the east. Although the west side is largely undeveloped, the area is home to numerous schools, beautiful homes, and three large parks (Sunnyside Park, Northwest-Graceland Park, and Horace B Garman Park).
